Foraging Walk & Book Signing

Co-sponsored with Bank Square Books. The walk, led by DPNC Executive Director/Botanist Maggie Jones and author Ava Chin, starts at 5 p.m., at The Nature and Heritage Center at Coogan Farm, 162 Greenmanville Ave., Mystic. The walk ends at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, where Ava will sign copies of Eating Wildly while guests enjoy some locally foraged snacks, beer and wine. Books will be available for sale at the reception for $25/copy. Note: Guests can either walk back to their cars at Coogan (approx. 1/2 mile) or we will provide van transportation.
